The Witching Hour was born in a few years ago as the little seed of an idea I was pretty sure I was too shy to pursue. But I couldn’t get the idea out of my head. In 2023, I did my first ever live reading in a library, and I loved it. From there, I began to wonder if I could do such a thing more often. In March, 2025, I gave it a shot for the first time. Now, The Witching Hour is still in its infancy, but officially being developed. This page is purely aspirational. The spirit behind this storytelling show is to connect with people. I’m inspired heavily by the lovely folks who perform at my favorite place in the whole world, the Sterling Renaissance Festival in Sterling, New York. The long-term vision is to perform this show wherever I’m allowed to.

But here’s where it stands right now. I’m still practicing my storytelling skills, and every month, I record a new tale and share it with the folks on my mailing list. Sign up here if you’re interested. When I don’t feel like I’m fumbling in the dark anymore, it’ll be a podcast.
